Profile
Suja graduated from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours). Subsequently, she received her Master’s in Maritime Law from the University of Southampton. Upon graduation, she worked as an in-house Legal Counsel with Pacific International Lines. Suja was admitted to the Singapore Bar in 1999.
Since then, she has been in active legal practice in Civil and Commercial Litigation, handling legal issues related to arbitration, construction, tenancy and enforcement matters. She is also one of the firm’s key advisors for the Town Councils. She has been appointed by several Town Councils to review and advice on major contracts, including by-laws.
She volunteers at the Pro Bono Legal Clinic organised by the Catholic Lawyers Guild and has been an active volunteer for Mission Works in Cambodia.
